In honor of World Kindness Day, we're collecting non-perishable items to help Caring and Sharing of South Santa Rosa County to help local families in need this holiday season.

On November 13th, bring your non-perishable items to your teacher.

🍝Suggested Items:
cereal, stuffing, boxed mashed potatoes, mac & cheese,
bags of rice, peanut butter, jelly (plastic container only please),
canned tuna/chicken, canned pumpkin, cranberry sauce,
paper towels, toilet paper, canned vegetables, etc.

Need help with your extra Halloween candy? We can help you out. Please place unwanted candy in our drop bin, located at the front of the school.

Our Boosterthon Fun Run is off to a great start. Let's keep it up! Our big run will be on Thursday, October 30th.

Kindergarten & 1st – 8:45-9:45
2nd & 3rd- 10:00-11:00
4th & 5th- 11:15-12:15

We will be checking IDs for any guests who would like to come and cheer on your students. You're welcome to bring pom poms, signs, and even your running shoes if you'd like to run a lap with your child.

The Junior Optimist Club will meet Wednesday, October 8th at 7:15AM in the OBE Library. Doors will open at 7:00AM. We will prepare for Veterans Day by making thank you cards for local assisted living facilities!

Start saving your aluminum cans OBE! On October 1st, we're launching our Million (Aluminum) Cans Recycling Contest. We're one of only a handful of schools in the state of Florida participating. Every can helps support our school and helps the Earth. Rinse, crunch, and collect. We can't wait to see what our students can do!

Introducing a new club at OBE! We will be having an interest meeting on September 30th. The first meeting will be on October 28th and future meetings will be planned for the 4th Tuesday of the month after that. We are also looking for parent volunteers to join us. Volunteer must have a volunteer application on file. Permission slips and sign-outs went home last week. If you missed yours, please reach out to your child's teacher.
